I'm being DD'ed by a reputable yet discreet FoF which got a strong reference check with one of my board advisors. What kind of background checks do FoFs typically conduct as DD besides looking at the data room?
The chances of them investing is very low, so don't waste time.
They will do extensive background reference checks on the general partners, speak with portfolio company CEOs, review the Data Room and validate the model.
